Support
Found a bug, stuck on a step, or spotted something that isn't how a real lab does it? Email support@spokeworks.app and tell us your device (for example "iPhone 15") and what happened. A screenshot helps a lot. Scientists: corrections are very welcome.
Common questions
How do I pipette?
Touch the bench and let go on what you want: the view zooms in. Drag up or down to lower or raise the tip and sideways to lean it against the wall. On the right is the pipette in your hand: push the plunger button with your thumb, roll the wheel on the side to set the volume, and press EJECT over the biohazard bin.
Why does it care so much about technique?
Because real labs do. Press to the 1st stop before the tip goes into the liquid, keep it 1 to 3 mm under the surface, release slowly, touch the well wall, blow out at the 2nd stop and lift out before you let go. Use a fresh tip every time. Mistakes show up in your run report, with a short explanation of why they matter.
What happens after I finish plating?
Seal the plate, roll the seal down, and spin it in the plate centrifuge. Always put the balance plate in the bucket opposite yours, and set the speed in × g, not rpm.
What is the Daily Plate?
Everyone gets the same plate each day. Your first finished run is your ranked attempt: clean runs rank first, then the fastest time. You can practice as much as you like afterwards.
What does my SOP score do?
Your best hand-run sets the standard your staff work to. Improve it by playing the bench, and your whole lab gets better.
Where is my progress saved?
On your device. Deleting the app deletes your progress.
How do I start over?
Use Reset save at the bottom of the menu (tap it twice). You can replay Dr. Okafor's tutorial any time from the Story card.
